What Kind of Pie Are You?

Earlier today I went to the kidney doctor. Everything on the CT scan turned out normal (other than finding a cyst on my ovary...glad I'm almost done with those things! ;-) except finding that I have a Medullary Sponge Kidney. It is an abnormality in the kidney that causes kidney stones. The doc told me that I do have stones, but the stones aren't too big and they aren't causing any problems so we really don't have to do anything about them for now. I am very thankful that mostly everything is alright! I will stay away from things that damage the kidneys (like NSAIDS and contrast on CT scans), eat healthy, not ingest too much calcium, and drink lots of water and hopefully I will have a fully functioning healthy kidney for life!
