Iris and Lavender, oh how I love thee!

Last night in my photography class, the instructor went over aperture and assigned us to take a pic with lots of blur in the background. So guess what kind of photos you'll be seeing here this coming week?

A couple of days ago I went out into the garden area (I'm not gardening this year and it feels very, very strange) and took some pics. The whole garden is a mass of flowers & weeds. I need to get out and take it back, but for now, it looks really ... green.

I was excited to see the lavender blooming. It is such a lovely purple!

And of course the bees love it!







And my irises are like the energizer bunny this year! They just keep going and going and going and going...



So pretty! I bought the peach colored ones last year; they are doing super!

Today I have plans to take lots of pics. Portraits of my kids (not the goats, the one's I bore... and keeping boring every day ;), flowers, shrubs, portraits of the baby goats, anything I can get my eye & camera on.

LOTS of pictures! is what I'll be bringing you this next week!
