When we got home from the vet on Saturday, and told Michael that Bethy had died, he told us to "Go pick her up." I am so glad that we did.
I didn't realize the closure that it would give us to have a family funeral for Bethy.
She is laid to rest just a little ways away from Madame & will get her own rosebush on her grave.
Thank God for Michael, who knew exactly what we needed even when we didn't.
"And a little child shall lead them." Indeed. ♥
