I made Bars yesterday morning. YUM! It is my very favorite Christmas Candy. As I made it, I paid special attention to the amounts of the ingredients I added, temperature of the oven, and time baked. So here is the recipe:
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, melted
3 cups crushed graham crackers
Combine and press onto a 9" x 13" cake pan to form a graham cracker crust.
Layer the following (making sure each layer spreads out to cover the entire pan):
2 cups coconut
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 cans sweetened condensed milk
Bake at 375 degrees for 35 minutes. Cool completely. Cut into small pieces and Enjoy!
What is your favorite Christmas Candy?

My favorite is Million Dollar Fudge - my grandma's recipe (which I have never successfully duplicated!) I also have a co-worker that makes a peanut butter cracker sandwich with Ritz crackers and then chocolate coats the whole thing... not as over the top sweet as a chocolate covered oreo...
ReplyDeletedang it, lessofme stole mine! I guess that happens, since we grew up with the same Christmas treats!!
ReplyDelete(Don't feel bad, I have never made a successful batch of Memaw's fudge, either!)
I also like Peanut Brittle, Toffee, and Almond or Peppermint bark.
This sounds good and easy! I'll have to try it.
