Steve and I took Beth to the vet today. He recommended that she be put down. The cancer had spread up her leg (another tumor) and she had a rapidly growing tumor on her neck. He thought it was the neck tumor that was causing her to not be able to walk without losing balance or strength and sitting down or falling.
I hope that my Bethy dog is running in the meadows of heaven. Uncle Bill and Grandma Deveraux can watch over her now.
My heart is truly breaking.
